Behind the recipes

Hi, I’m Christy

I’m a picky eater—there, I said it! And to top it off, I hate doing dishes. These quirks are exactly why I learned to cook at a young age. In our home, if you set the table and cooked, you were off the hook for dishes. That was all the motivation I needed to dive into meal prep.

I started with boxed meals, but as I got older, I tackled more complex recipes. By high school, I was eager to learn the forgotten skills of cooking from scratch. Pasta, bread, and desserts were my first big projects. With guidance from my mom and grandmothers, I honed my skills—and had a lot of fun experimenting along the way.

In upcoming posts, I’ll be sharing everything I’ve learned, from simple basics to more intricate recipes, all while keeping meals delicious and easy.
